All Things

Often in life things get uncovered and revealed that cause us to go into a tailspin. Since we cannot control what happens to us we may find ourselves in situations where we are shocked and bewildered. It may seem in these moments that you will never rise up out of the sinkhole. I can assure you one thing, one thing I have extracted from the pages of scripture over and over again: "all things work together for the good for those that love God and are called for His purposes."
How do we rebound after life causes a missed shot? Sometimes the best thing to do is start fresh. I remember a movie quote I once heard. A woman was trying to figure out her problems with a boyfriend and she found out that he was in a relationship with someone else. She was beside herself, totally confused and deeply hurt. Then she made this statement:

"A clean break is easier. You can reset it, and it heals, and you move on, but if you leave things messy, and things don't get put right, then it just hurts, for ever."

The good news for all of us is that the Lord does not leave things messy. He is the master of the reset. He is the God who heals ALL of the things that hurt us. Let the Master reset you today and get back on that path that leads to fullness of joy. Restoration is possible. In His time. You can endure anything that comes against you! ALL THINGS will mingle together for YOUR good!
