Ynot Jesus?
Yesterday we sent off an amazing man of God to heaven as we celebrated his life. He was a wonderful partner of our ministry and a great friend. His name was Tony Jones.
Tony touched more people in the last 800+ days than most of us will have the chance to touch in a lifetime. A smile, a word of hope, a note of inspiration, and other ventures that will continue to minister to people from all walks of life…his voice was heard and the Lord’s presence felt.
We feel pain and will mourn at his loss but one day the Lord will turn our mourning into dancing! Tony is happy, healed and now watching over all of us, especially his wife Johanna and his children Joel and Eden. Part of his ministry calling was the development of a website to inspire and encourage others to stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. He began ynotjesus.com(notice that ynot is Tony reversed!)
Take a look at it and download the healing scriptures to share. Send an word of encouragement to the family (tony@ynotjesus.com) and get a shirt to help support the ministry and help his family.
For the last 2 years we laughed, cried, prayed, struggled, and endured the challenge that faced him. We did it together because that’s what partners in faith do. We wish that we would have had more time with him here but we so look forward to an eternity with him there! As Tony would say, you've tried everything else...maybe it's time for a change...ynot Jesus?
Go rest high upon that mountain Tony!
Tony was more than a father, a husband, and congregant. He was a man chosen by God to endure some tough times in order to reach some tougher people. His mission was clear…tell others about Jesus because when you have done all that you know to do, He is there to bring you through.
