Faith

Hebrews 11:1-2 The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors,
set them above the crowd.
One translation calls it the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. This is what faith is…evidence of what you cannot see…it’s the substance of all of the things you are believing for. This entire chapter is filled with men who had learned how to use FAITH…how to activate that substance and present that evidence. "Evidence" refers to the clues left at the scene of the crime that lead you to the one who committed the crime. Faith is what God leaves out there for you and I that if we follow it, will lead us back to Him. Always follow the evidence!
This TRUST in God is what pleases Him. It IS the foundation that we should use to build the life that He intended for us to live. How do you know if you are using FAITH? You will be involved in something that is absolutely impossible without the help of the Lord. Eight years ago I felt that He was leading me to be more intimately involved in the lives of people...to become a pastor. It was March of 2002 when The Landing Community Church was born. As I read through my journal notes about what I was feeling in my heart and spirit, I saw a picture in my mind and asked a friend to put on paper. The bible says to write down the vision so others can read it! How do I know I am using FAITH today?
Because this image is what the Lord has called me to move towards and it simply cannot happen unless He brings it to pass. I am trusting Him to lead me to people with the land and the experience to build a place where people can truly see God turn their dreams2destiny! Using this faith daily is what makes my life worth living! What are you using your FAITH for today?
