A Grand Design
Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG
It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
What are you living for today? Is it a bigger house, a nicer car, a new suit or maybe even for a spouse? Paul reminds us in today's scripture that we find out WHO we are and WHAT we are living for IN CHRIST. Notice what it also says in this verse: He had his eye on us and He had designs for us to live a glorious life! It was part of His plan and purpose that we find out about that plan and walk it out. You can't get your hopes up until you've got His plan down!
You can live on purpose and live by design of the One that created you and laid it all out for you ahead of time. How do we start? Just ask Him today to direct you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart...lean not upon your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path!
