Open the Curtains!
Yesterday we went under the Big Top looking at Isaiah 54:2...
"Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back;
lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes
Let's keep going and look at the next part of this scripture...it says "stretch your tent curtains wide and do not hold back."
Imagine yourself trying to look out your window at home with the curtains closed. You couldn't see very far could you? If you are getting ready to expand your ministry, your family, your career or your business you need to think BIG...after all this is the Big Top remember? The further you open the curtains the farther you can see. Our vision is only hindered by what we keep ourselves from seeing. Don't hold back...jump into what God has for you with both feet! Give everything that you have...pour yourself into it...let yourself go with the flow of the spirit of God!
Curtains are a barrier to your visibility. People pull the curtains shut when they want to keep the light out. When you are ready to see the wonderful plan that God has prepared for you, all you have to do is stretch open the curtains wide...there is an incredible future waiting for you...on a clear day you can see forever! What God is saying to us is that we must remove the barriers so we can see His plan. If we do what we can, God will do what we cannot.
So let the SON shine in and take a good look at the goodness of God today!
