Relinquish Control

I have been trying to learn how to take my hands off of the wheel and give control to the Lord. I do realize that He is in control but so often I find myself trying to intervene because I think that I can get the end result faster...after all it was God through the pen of James that tells us to let patience do its thing. Though I always seem to end up in a waiting room, God's timing is perfect.

Perhaps today you are struggling in an area of your life. Maybe you are trying to drive something forward that is being put on hold for a very good reason. Someone once said that the best things in life come to those who wait. I would say that the best things in life come to those that will let God take charge and follow His lead. So go ahead, sing it out with Carrie Underwood...Jesus take the wheel!
